Dropbox cut and paste URL link

Acer Iconia Tab A110..I have Dropbox for android downloaded..I want to send a link to my dropbox for either a pic or an album..I open Dropbox, select the picture or album..on the top right hand menu, I select Share..a list of options comes up and the first is Copy Link...as I want to send a link via email to fam members, I select that, then i get a black box with "The link is ready to be pasted". Where do I go to get the link and How do I paste it..I tried long press on the black box thinking that might do it..I tried long press on the photo and that didnt do it either...Stumped..thanks
 
To share a file from Dropbox by email, long-press on the file and from the options list that pops up select 'Share' then 'Email' in the list that pops up next. A new email will open with a link to the file already pasted in it.

Thanks, I will give that a shot..maybe I was going in too far within Dropbox rather than trying it from the list of files etc..will let you know ..just tried it with one of my sisters..will see if she gets the link and it works
