dropbox offer

I had an account already and all i did was check my email I registered the account under, clicked on the link they provided and wallah...my 50 gigs of cloud storage was recognized and ready to use. hope this helps you out.;)

I already had a dropbox account and assumed it would just upgrade the storage but no. Very unfair I think. Now what?

You should still be able to get it, I thought the same thing when I got my gs3, but all you have to do is go to their website and look for instructions regarding the offer (all I had to do was download the app to my ps)

AT&T doesn't support it. Even though Best Buy marketing materials show it as a feature.
I don't think AT&T has any control over it unless they removed the app from their custom ROM. I think as long as you open the Dropbox app and activate the camera function or do something where it links to the account (within the app), an email will be sent regarding the extra space. I think some form of device ID is sent to Dropbox to recognize it to be eligible for the extra storage space.

I received the email offer after opening the built-in Dropbox app and activating the camera feature. Then it was following the extra steps needed to activate the extra storage space.

I can confirm this works. It was a breeze and the additional 50 gB showed up right away. My only worry is that things which appear too good to be true usually are. I'm grateful - but cautious. :D
