Dropbox space question.

So I have recently been doing stuff to get extra space on my dropbox, like inviting friends, etc. Two questions, will adding space to it take space away from my phone? And does pictures in my dropbox take any space away from my phone? I know in your gallery if you have photos they do take minimal space away. Say I had like 200 pictures in dropbox, would that take phone space away.

Adding the photos from your phone will not take space from your phone. They are synchronized and stored in space of your dropbox account.
