Dropbox upload

Hey guys, had prob a stupid question when it comes to dropbox, searched but could not find anything, I currently have it set up to upload pictures only on wifi, but I only turn on wifi during the night when I'm charging my phone. Since I take pictures during the day while the phone is on mobile data, will dropbox upload those pictures when I turn wifi on at night or does wifi have to be on when you take a picture? TIA

It doesn't matter when you take the pictures, when you connect to wifi, it will upload all the photos that it hasn't uploaded yet.

Ok thanks for the fast response, this only applies to the DCIM or camera folder right? I dont want it to try and upload all my pictures i have on my phone in different files.

On mine at least, it only uploads photos that get sent to the camera shots folder in the gallery (AKA photos taken by the phone camera). I would assume it works this way on all phones.
