Help Dropped Calls, anyone else?

Ok, so I have a GS3 and I'm constantly dropping calls with verizon. All the dropped calls are made from my house and my two roommates have verizon as well, but they're using a droid razr and a samsung galaxy nexus. They never drop calls. I also never dropped a single call at our house with my previous iphone 4S. Not saying the iphone is better, cause I do love my gs3, just need to make sure I don't drop the few calls that I do actually make.

Any ideas or suggestions? Anyone else having these issues? I already had the sim card replaced 2 weeks ago and I'm having the same problems. Dropped 3 calls yesterday, 2 today. They're sending me a replacement phone to see if it helps, I sure hope it does.

Thanks!

Call Verizon then. make sure you have turned off your phone, removed the sim card, reinserted it and turned the phone back on again. That will update the towers in the phone.

I'm new to this site. I found it cause I was searching for others with Samsung Galaxy Siii Dropped calls.

I dropped two yesterday at home. Both with a customer who was very annoyed. When I called back for the 3rd time he let my call go to voice mail.

Anyways, I'll try to Turn the phone off, remove the sim card, re-insert and power on the phone.

When I bought the phone it took them several tries to get it working. I bought it from Wal-mart. $129 plus a $100 gift card. My wife used the $100 gift card to upgrade her iPhone 3gs to a 5. Anyways, I took the phone home and 4g LTE wouldn't work. I chatted with Samsung Tech Support. They told me to turn the phone off and back on. The guy didn't even wait for me to come back on to stay on the chat. Oh well, it fixed it.
