Dropped it...

I dropped my zmax down a couple stairs with the case on it that they gave away. The screens fine but, now the fingerprint isnt working this is very annoying, and im wondering if they even secured the connection to the fingerprint scanner down.

edit: does anyone have any info on how to disassemble it, or any guides yet?

if course i was sealed down properly, the case does not protect much, it's more feature and style. there isnt any guides to disassemble though.

The fingerprint shouldnt stop working from a minor drop onto carpeted stairs. I hit the phone really hard on the table and it started working again.... indicates a poor connection, might be just mine idk

Your phone fell and something stopped working? What a shock! Phones are fragile. Just be happy your screen wasn't ruined. I've dropped my Zmax like 5 times so far, and it's still fine. I use a cheap rubber case on it so I doubt it will ever break from being dropped.... My phones break when I'm angry lol.

Lol.... Yeah I have anger issues too. I'm glad I discovered something network related and not my ZMax being defective. I was only one day away from repeatedly stomping it until an intergalactic black hole enveloped my entire zip code

Yeah, I have a bad temper... My poor Nexus 5 knows too well... I threw it so hard at the wall that it cracked the motherboard on the inside. Poor thing

Small world bahaha.... My old Nexus 5 got "Gronk Spiked" twice on a concrete floor at work for a poorly timed VM alert. I still have the pieces, been trying to find a way to salvage my son's baby pics off the internal SD
