Dropping a pin in Google maps

Going to a concert and can never find my car after. How do you drop a pin a save it so I can use Google maps to help find my car??

When you have parked your car tap the Maps 'Location' button to show the blue location dot. Long-press the blue dot then tap the white box at the bottom of the screen then tap 'Save'. You can save the location in one of the default lists or create a new list eg 'Parking'.

To find the location go into 'Your places' - 'Saved' - 'Parking'. Tap the location to get the 'Directions' option.

or if you use google services you can just say "ok google remember where i parked" and it will no need to type or push buttons. i use this feature all the time.
