Hi,
I have a new dual sim android phone running Marshmallow. I use Sim 1 for calls and Sim 2 for data. The settings asks for a "preferred" data Sim. In work - the coverage for Sim 2 (data) is very poor. I would like in a scenario such as this, where the data Sim has no coverage, that the phone would use the data from the other Sim. This does not happen. Sim 1 is calls only, Sim 2 is Data only. Preferred seems to imply that it will try and use the data sim before the other, yet - it seems to me that it is exclusive - data will only be on Sim 2. Am i missing something in the settings - or is this the way it works?
