I work in both the USA and Australia and tired of carrying two phones. So I bought a dual SIM, Motorola, Moto G 2nd Gen phone. The software is up to date v 5.05 Lollipop.
My carrier in Australia is Telstra which I believe is GSM and in the US it is Verizon which uses LTE(?). I put SIM cards from Telstra and my Verizon SIM card into my new phone and both worked just fine in Australia.
However when I came to the US recently my Telstra card worked, but the Verizon card did not work. Can anybody explain why that is and how I can possibly get them both to work in the US?
