Dual window lg volt

Does anybody know how this works? Your supposed to hold the back button and a selection of apps pops up. You then drag one app up and then one down and you have a split screen view of two different apps running at the same time. I couldn't find it in the settings. But I downloaded a app called anycut that made a shortcut to the option in the settings. It seems like the feature is there but holding the back button doesn't do anything. I attached a pic of the option that pops up after u create the shortcut.

Ok what app called anycut. I looked into this and the only app i can find just makes shortcuyts for direct calls and direct messaging on the homescreen through an icon. Give a direct link to the app and soemone can help you out more. Also where in the settings did it give you a new option.

That's the app, use it to create a shortcut. Look for the one called dual window.

so if the application is on the phone we just need to figure out how to enable it and use it. Has to be a build.propr entry the lg has left out


I see it but it doesnt add the option to the settings just in that shortcut. But if it is in the list of options it must be on the phone just not enabled . Lg likes to dumb down phone that arent the flagship ones.

With anycut I created a shortcut on the desktop that looks like this

yeah i got it to do that. But it doesnt actually add anyhting into youyr phone settings menu i checked.

I think it may be in the framework, but like you said without the build.prop edit it's not gonna show.

after you set everything up you can hide the tab from view. in the settings
