Dungeon Hunter 2 now available from Gameloft

Good game, it took ages to download due the gameloft's dodgy servers but was well worth it.

Great gameplay and the graphics are fantastic for a mobile game, better than dungeon defenders imo. :D

you samsung guys have it good, gameloft seems to want to blow samsung owners when it comes to who gets their games first

Do any of their games even work on the Atrix? I was told none of them do because they don't optimize the new Tegra chip.

Gl has 5 for atrix more will come we just have to play that waiting game for devs to catch up with new tech

Not much point supporting the Atrix as it's mainly an AT&T phone (yes Bell has it, but that's a much smaller market). AT&T has blocked side loading so the average user can't even install the game.

If AT&T changes that policy and we may see more Tegra phones, you will probably see more games from Gameloft for that platform.

Gameloft focuses on the Samsung Galaxy S line because it has sold so well around the world and not just in the US. The GPU is also the same series as the iPhone's, just faster.

It's not just the Atrix they are supporting; any phone that comes out with a Tegra chip inside it, or any other of the upcoming dual-core processors, needs to be re-worked.

I agree that supporting the more popular phones first is the way to go, which they are doing as you said.

Doesn't seem any of the latest games support the Evo though, such as Asphalt 6, Dungeon Hunter 2; at least not from the mobile website.

Asphalt 6 and Dungeon Hunter 2 are great looking games, they are probably a little too much for the Adreno 200 GPU.

Even Adreno 205 is still slower than the SGX540, gameloft have to draw the line somewhere as to what they are willing to support.

Weren't you the one that was frustrated with the "Tegra" only games, and saying that any good developer can make their games work on every device? ;)

I understand they need to draw the line somewhere, but if graphics is the only improvement over the previous title, they should use previous graphics for the "weaker" device. PC games may not be the best comparison, but they are great examples of this. To be more specific, I'll take SCII. When that came out last July, my laptop was two years old (it was never "top of the liner" either) and I could run that game on medium graphics without any problems at all.

No not exactly, Tegra 2 and SGX540 performance are simalar so there is no reason to limit any game for one device only.

When your talking about devices where there is a large peformance gap it's completely different, it's bad enough developers have to make different versions for the various hardware available nevermind older phones as well.

Your asking a bit too much from them, if they did this games would take even longer to come to Android and we would be held back by the slower phones allot more than we already are.

That came off as pretty cold dude.

You can't install a game thats not from the Android Market on any Android phone from AT&T in less you know what your doing, not cold just the truth.

If you mean the Canada remark, I am Canadian and it's just a reality that Canadians should be used to by now.

can anyone confirm if this thing runs on Desire or N1? or a link where it lists supported devices or hardware req..?

cant seem to find it..

Hi, I've installed this game on my DHD in the UK. There is no option for multiplayer, is anybody else experiencing this.

Dungeon Hunter or Dungeon Hunter 2? The first one does not have multiplayer, but the second one definitely does.

Wow, HTC Evo 4G is now a compatible device, happy days... How does everyone like the game so far? Is it worth $5? I have DH1 already, how does it compare to the first?

I love it, well worth the money. I stopped playing Dungeon Hunter after a couple hours, but DH2 has sucked me in and i have played about 6 hours so far with no sign of slowing down.

The menu and character customization screens are easier to navigate. The controls feel much better especially with the 3 spell buttons separated making them easier to hit in the middle of the action.

You can quit anytime and your game will be saved, with the original it seemed to only save after an event occurred or when you transported to a different world.

The graphics are way better, crisp textures and awesome lighting effects. Combine online and local co op play and this game is easily on my list of favorite Android games of 2011.

Wow a very nice endorsement, I definitely will pick it up next time Gameloft have one of their BOGO free sales.

Now all we need from Gameloft is to bring Starfront:Collision to Android/Evo 4G, and I think my android gaming collection will be set.

I'm on DH 2 on a desire HD. My friend and I have both bought the game and neither of us have been able to access any kind of multiplayer options. When I select my character i am given the option to either start single player or view achievements. I assume that is the menu where you would select co-op?

I can't say. Maybe it's the version for the Desire HD, maybe it's your location, maybe it's the version you have. When you go to manage apps, what version does it say you have? Mine is 1.0.2.

Yeah I'm looking forward to that as well as Nova2 and Fast5.

They are still offering 2 for 1, at least where I am.
