Help Duplicate contact info or self

Hello all,

Lovin' my new Droid Eris, but I was wondering if there is anyway to merge the duplicate contact entry for "My contact card" in the People app with an imported Google contact entry for myself. I don't want o mess up the sync for this because I know that the Google contact entry is used in Picassa and whole bunch of other things.

Any advice would be appreciated. Cheers.
 
Me too. I've looked at my google contacts online and tried to group them together. That seemed to help, but it was a pain and time consuming.
