Duplicate contacts

I sync between Outlook and my Samsung Nexus using Compnion link. It has worked great for years. Some how the contacts are also updated to "people" which I believe is the google contact data base.

Since the last samsung/verizon upgrade my contacts have trippled. I can sync from outlook to companion link, purging the data base in companion link and the problem in companion link is corrected but not in google. A few hours later, the duplicate contacts reappear!

Any idea what is happening and how to purge the google data base?

Welcome ewd49, glad to have you here!

You might want to try going into your contacts and then settings > once in there choose the accounts you want to show, and see about unchecking some of the account boxes and see if something changes!
