Help Duplicate Folder in Gallery

[jedikaiti]

So I have had my lovely new S3 for about 24 hours now, and I found that Gallery, to my annoyance, insists on including other images on my phone, like the ones stored in my Dropbox. Don't want or need them in Gallery, but that's neither here nor there.

The problem at hand, is that I had cause to rename a Dropbox folder containing images that Gallery has sucked into it. Now, in Gallery, I have 2 albums with the Dropbox pics - one labeled with the old name, and one labeled with the new name.

So... how do I get rid of the album with the original name?

Thanks!

Ive seen this happen before although not with dropbox. It seems to fix itself after awhile. think it's just needing to finish synching.

Try the app QuickPic instead of Gallery

I like it better more options to customize views, hide folders etc

than just hide the Gallery App

Have tried quickpic, but it only seems to refresh the photos when I open the app, and it takes quite a while to update. Unlike the stock gallery app, which is refreshed as soon as it opens.

Is there any way to get quickpic to refresh in the background, so as soon as I open it, the pics are available already?
