Duplicate icon in main menu

Guys,

My YouTube App has been updated, now there are two YouTube icons appearing in the main menu. If I uninstall YouTube update, a single icon is shown, as usual. If I update it again, the second icon appears again. Please, what do I have to do to get that second icon out of there?

Mobile LG-P350f, Android v2.2.2, Kernel v2.6.32.9.

Thanks a lot, guys. :)

Does Youtube not have an uninstall option? it would seem that whoever handled your phone prior to sales (carrier?) have embedded Youtube into the firmware. You'll just have to live with it or use a launcher that is able to hide apps from the app drawer.

It has an uninstall option, but it's disabled, you know? I can't click (touch) it.

My phone was not handled by any mobile service provider prior to sales. At least, not that I'm aware of. I know what you're talking about because here in my country, Brazil, this is very common. In general, they change stuffs like wallpaper and some settings, add applications of their own, etc. My mobile phone is clean and not related to any mobile company. Weird.

Anyway, thanks for your answer. :)
