duplicate icons after installing app

hi all,
i am new to android i am doing a small project based on Bluetooth to read some values from power device. my problem is after installing app in emulator it is showing in dual icon for one app and i am trying to install in mobile also it showing same thing. but the application is working very fine but it's create dual icons in the screen.
how to solve this problem please give some solutions...

I am also new to android and experienced the problem you encountered and managed to solve it. I am also currently working on a Bluetooth based application. Maybe you could share your project details with me.

To solve this problem, you could try checking your Manifest in the Applications tab. You might have duplicated your MAIN Activity.
