Duplicate Posts

Having problems with duplicate posts, annoying to me, have to wipe out message, but still leaves a "." and mods, if I'm not quick enough, they have to clean up.

Running Firefox 5.0., Addons: Running JAVA console, Adblock, Flashblock, Ghostery, PDF Download, Reminder Fox, WOT, Zemanta. Nothing special.

Happens when I've posted a message and my session expires, I log back in and message is posted again.

Is there a place where I can make dummy (no pun intended) posts to narrow down the problem ?

Looking back at your posting history, this seems like a recent occurrence, where all of the duplicate posts occurred yesterday.

So when you make the post, the session already expired and you are required to log back on again. When you log back on there are now two identical posts?

Yep, Roze, two identical posts.. it's happened a few times in a row as you say today and yesterday (as far as I've seen).

I see no user control panel setting that I know of that would cause that to happen, so I'm thinking that it could have something to do with one browser addon not playing nice with the site or with another addon, "flashblock?"

I did a quick search, and found one as far back as 13 July, but I'm sure there were more.

Yes, when logging back in after posting, a duplicate of what I previously posted occurs.

I'll try some tests this weekend, when I hope there's less activity to narrow down the issue. When finished testing, I'll "." the posts which I hope makes it easier for you to fully delete.
