Help Duplicate screen on a computer?

I have a rooted Huwei Ascend and the screen has stopped working. The phone works (receives texts and calls). I was wondering if there is a way to duplicate the screen on a computer so I can access my text messages.

+1.. if i'm not mistaken you have to have all the drivers set up fyi.. cm7 was hell for me and those apps.. think i gave up on it..
