I don't know about you guys but I'm finding it increasingly difficult to keep tabs on issues relating to screens, ordering, TNT/UPS delivery, Apps, etc

Even if only temporarily until everyione gets their N7, is there ANY merit in creating sub folders for key topics to try and keep questions and the answers/advice in single/fewer threads?

Failing that, can mods merge the threads to achieve the same thing?

Could admin not slim down a few?

I'm not particularly fussed how it's done but I thought topic specific folders would theoretically reduce the possibility of someone creating a new thread when there is already a 10+ page discussion. Maybe I just need to get out more :smokingsomb:

In other news - Expecting to have to pop in to the TNT depot at Sluff this evening to collect my own N7 :D

Staff have been doing our best to manage this and keep things neat and tidy.;)

I think they've done a good job. 10 threads with good titles is better than 1 humungo-thread where nobody really knows what's going on. If it's short, to the point, and holds useful info in the first few posts the it's a good thread in my book. Some of the bigger ones are a discussion and a bit messy but that's more a product of how frustrated we (I) all are (am).

I'm sure you all are and what I said wasn't meant to suggest otherwise :)

But surely there is only so far you can merge threads from my own experience.

Anyway, was just a thought to try and make life a wee bit easier for everyone

No worries. We see this all the time for devices that have excitement like the N7. Eventually I and the rest of the folks waiting will get theirs, the initial bugs and defects will be patched or warranty replaced. All of these initial chaotic threads will quickly fade into the history books and the forum will be orderly.

Then three days later Google will announce whatever the "k" version of Android is and the next speculation thread will be born and we will start all over again.:D:vroam:
