Help Dust Under My Screen? ;(

My heart skipped a beat today when I looked at the bottom of my insanely clean screen. The unthinkable had happened. THERE WAS DUST UNDER MY SCREEN! Yes... dust... I have a Phantomskinz screen protector and a case on my beloved phone.. and yet I STILL have dust under my screen. =(. So where could this nasty dust/lint have gotten in from? THE BUTTONS. YES, THE BUTTONS. Or.. I think thats where they could have gotten in from... Do you guys have dust under your screen? Should I send my phone to LG to get it fixed? Pleasse comment back. =( Im relly depressed.

I didn't have it under my actual screen, but I had a small hair somehow get between my screen protector and screen...it was about a quarter inch in from the right side of my viewable screen..sorry I'm no help, but i wanted to post cuz I found my situation odd too

Yeah, I got the same thing on mine. It's the camera button in the lower right corner thats a little loose, and it looks like dust is getting in from there, and is under the screen. It's not too bad but it's just a bummer that it's happening.

This happened with my old Blackberry, too, and I was devastated. The culprit in that case, given the location of the dust, was the USB port. In your case, the USB port would seem to be an equally plausible culprit as the buttons. Hard to say with this phone.

If LG will fix something like this, I'd probably do it, cause it'll just keep accumulating more. But even if you do, it'll probably happen again, so, completely your call.

Think of it this way- the composition of house dust includes a pretty big percentage of dead skin cells, so you are now truly one with your phone.

Another reason I like the OtterBox case. Everything is covered with opening plugs for the charging and earphone ports.

^I just can't bring myself to spend that much on a case. Plus, I'd imagine that actually plugging stuff into the ports jams dust in there, unless your charger/headphone plugs are pristine.

My iPod Touch has the same problem as my phone. Its got dust just splattered all over the screen. Ive got THE CLEANEST SCREEN on each of my devices but they still get dust under them. =/ Im pretty pissd that theres dust under BOTH of my devices. =(

I had dust under the bottom right of my screen. I took the phone apart and cleaned it out. I put black RTV between the glass and case to prevent the dust from coming back. No more dust for 1 month now. I don't use any cases.
