Dynamic Lock Screen checks for updates or new pics even though I turned it off.
It seems to check every couple minutes.

Is there a way to prevent this?
Better yet, any way to uninstall it?

do not use the dynamic lockscreen......use something else.

I presume you've already tried restarting your tablet?

Samsung's Dynamic Lock Screen feature should only be updating the image cache every two weeks via WiFi. And as it's something that's baked into the firmwsare, it can't be uninstalled. But it can be turned OFF in Settings.

I check in the morning but I probably didn't restart my tablet.
I just did a Factory Data Reset and after I turned it off I noticed it checking about 3 times within a half hour.
I'll see if it persists in the morning.
