E: can't mount /dev/block/mmcblk0p1 (or /dev/block/mmcblk1p1) No such file or directory. Error mounting /mnt/sdcard/! ... just can'.t flash anything anymore..through recovery,,,.is my phone phone bricked,,,??

tried to flash a rom from sd card..and this error appeared,,any help much appreciated..
 
Probably a corrupt SD card, can you get into recovery?

If you can try mounting the SD card and get everything off you need on to your PC and re format and partition the card.

What ROM where you trying to flash?
 
yes i can get into recovery,,im using RA desire 2.0.0.. recovery,,so do i need to buy a new sd card,,i have already tried leedroid and starburst,,but b4 this happened,,i was on starburst rom,1.3,,but i did a nandroid back up,,and then tried to flash a different rom,,rcmix hd,,and then this happened,,afterwards,,is it just the sd card or is there a problem with my phone already,,,,
 
No you dont need a new one (well probably not) just take the card out put it a card reader and do a full format. then copy your ROM .zip file back on the card, put the card back in the phone and try to flash again from recovery. make sure you do a full wipe.

YOU WILL LOOSE EVERYTHING ON THE CARD WHEN YOU REFORMAT
 
Echo that. Sounds like the fat32 fs is nacked.

That error is amonRA mounting to phone. Will AmonRA mount to pc?
 
what do you mean by wiil amonra mount to pc??sorry for the question,,tried connecting to usb,doesnt do anything, i can go to the bootloader interface,,hboot usb plug,,,, fastboot,,tried to go to amonra,,usb -ms toggle,,seems nothing happens,,if i enable it,,,,anything i do now ,gives me same error,,,tried to format the sd card..tried to partition with gparted live,,,seems like still cant flash anything,,,or even do a nandroid restore,,coz i all got my roms,,backed up....nothing is working,,,same error everytime,,,but i can access bootloader,,and recovery,,,thanks,,,
 
@ SUroot...yes i think,,so,,what do you mean,by does android still boot at all??yes i can go to the bootloader ..by pressing vol.-down and and power,,and directs you to the bootloader isn't it,,and ater wards go to recovery/...is this what you meant?by your question,,?if your question is the other way around,,nothing is happening when i turn on my phone normally,,it just goes to a little round logo,,and then shutsdown and vibrates and goes back,,and doing the same thing ,,again and again,,,,do you think my phone is totally bricked,,?do you think there is still hope to fix my problem,,thanks,,
 
I'm not sure. Yes I meant when you turn it on normally.

It may be a case of having to return to stock using An RUU
 
@SU root ,,i have tried that returning to stock using RUU,,,BUT cant find my device on my computer,,connected my device to usb with the laptop,,, i tried running RUU,,,then it says thAt no device found,,,?? ,but the phone is connected to the usb on my laptop,,what's next now,,thanks,,
 
@SU ROOT...tried connecting phone normally to usb,,says doesnt recognize the device...device not recognize..but one thing unusual happened..i left it connected to usb ,my phone,,then suddenly the phone booted normally,,,but its out of service,,meaning got my simcard in,,but wont connect to my network provider,,,and i went to storage and sd,,its says unavailable ,,when i check the sd card,,on settings,,,pls.insert an sd card ,,but the sd card is inserted,,,,tried a new sd card ,,its the same error,,its seems that the sd card is ok,,,there might be a problem with the usb connection on the phone,,or problem mounting in the sd card,,,thanks,,,anybody encountering this problem like mine,,who found a solution,,kindly posts ,,pls,,,,thanks,,,
 
It's a usb brick by the sounds of it. Seen a few of these lately. Not sure what's causing them.

To fix, you need access to sd card.

Go to xda and there is a sticky called "everything desire is here"

In there is a link to usb brick fix. If you ask there, they may be able to help
 
@SU ROOT,, can't posts,on xda ,,,coz for some reasons,,,,they have,,im sending private messages to some people there ,,no reply at all,,,what shld. i do know,,,?its been o week know looking for solution to my phone,,bricked,,,,thanks
