E-Mail Notification

[Android Question]

I have a Samsung Galaxy S4. How do I get my gmail account to verbally announce when I have new messages?

Gmail app > settings > [account name]

check notifications box then adjust inbox sound & vibrate

Hi

I have installed an app called "Speaking Phone Free" which announces the callers name (if in my contacts) and number for phone calls and sms.
