E-mail Problems - Multiple Deliveries

Hi to everyone out there

I've 3 kinda related problems I need help on please.

1)
I've a G-mail account which I set in to the Google mail app.
This worked fine at first.
Now when I recieve e-mails they don't appear in the Inbox.
But they do appear in the listing for All Mails and they're tagged as being in the inbox.
My question is how do I get them to show again in the inbox?

2)
Also the G-mail app I don't see any way to delete the mails in the Recycle bin, how do I do this?

3)
With the above problems I've set up the HTC e-mail app to recieve my e-mails from my G-mail account.
Again this was working fine to begin with.
But now I'm recieving 3 copies of every e-mail with identical delivery times.
One copy is fine and I can read the content etc. but the other 2 copies aren't showing any content in them, even after choosing the download content option.

Any suggestions for how to fix any of the above appreciated.

This seems to be more a function of the mail apps themselves. It might be more appropriate in your device section since the HTC mail app is unique to HTC phones.
