Help E-Mail Problems

My phone has a notification on the lock screen saying I have 19 new emails and I can't get it to go away. Anyone know how to fix that?

Read your emails ! LOL! Or just remove the account on there & use yahoo on the web.

Try this: go to settings> applications> manage applications. Find gmail and the select it. Then select clear data. I have found that sometimes the phone won't sync with the gmail servers (this happened on my OM as well). The application will say I have mail, but I don't have any unread mail. No amount if syncing will bring it in either. Once I clear data, the app will re-sync and all will be good.
