Boss has the Fascinate (he'll probably be switching to the iPhone as soon as VZW has it), and he wants to clear out his Sent items from the phone, without deleting those same items off of the exchange server?

Anyone know of a way to do this? I tried Googling for it, but really didn't find anything useful.

Thanks!

Do a factory data reset

Settings>Privacy>Factory data reset
Won't that get rid of ALL that data on his phone? He just wants to get rid of his SENT items. Not all of his data.

I was thinking about clearing is data from the system>applications menu, but I think that'll erase everything too. =/

I'm not really sure of a way to clear out just his sent items. Not to mention wouldn't they just be resynced anyway?

If you are sync'd to that account, when you delete on the phone they will delete on the server. The only way around this is to remove the sync or use a third party email client like Touchdown and not sync the sent folder.

I misunderstood the question, I thought you were talking about when he gets an iPhone how to clear it off the Samsung.

I figured. I just wanted to make sure that they didn't actually do what you instructed and ended up losing everything on their phone. :)
