Help Easiest way to remove Screen Protector

As topic says... anyone know the easiest way to remove the screen protector thats on the device when its unpacked? Ive scored it and want to put on a new one.

Just use your finger nail and peel it up from the top corner, or you can use something like a toothpick, the screen it self is supposed to be scratch proof so you will be ok, it peels of fairly easy, and then just make sure the screen is spotless to put on a new one.

I found it a real pain to get started, though once I finally did it did come off quite easily and without leaving any residue on the screen. I was very surprised by how thick and hard it was.

Applied my Clear-Coat, and am loving it. Far thinner (meaning a bit better touch response), and it doesn't pick up fingerprints and smudges anywhere near as easily as the stock protector.
 
So there is two screen protectors? One thats already on when you buy it, and then another one in the box that you have to put on your self?
 
I used to rock screen protectors all the time on my iPhone 3G (Which ended up getting a circular scratch on its screen from a toonie), until I got the 3GS which never had a screen protector and still hasn't had a single scratch, I haven't used one since. These glass screens are AMAZINGLY durable, and if something IS strong enough to scratch it, well its going to scratch through a thin piece of plastic. All those scratches that I thought my screen would get when it was in my pocket with my keys and change really showed when I had a screen protector on, the plastic got scratched damn easily. I still keep my phone with my keys and change in my pocket, and the screen still look damn good and I don't have to put up with stupid air bubbles and residue

In some regions, a spare screen protector was included in the X10 box. To my knowledge, this is the same screen protector as the one Sony installs at the factory on all X10s (ie: very thick, smudges easily).
 
So really the screen is safe without a protector and it will be less prone to smudging ?
 
I got it off... but Im not putting another back on... didnt realise how thick it was til I took it off... no scratches what so ever so far!
 
So we would be safe without any screen protector at all, im on my second one and the screen protectors are 9 euro a pop!!!!:eek::eek:

The screen is made of mineral glass, so it's naturally scratch resistant. If you prefer to have the extra coverage of a protector (as I do), go with something like Clear-Coat, as they provide a lifetime guarantee.
 
i just removed my screen protector, not sure if its better without it or not... still getting a lot of fingerprint marks on it when i use it....

Thats dissapointing i was thinking of removing the protector as i have heard you get less finger marks :(.

I guess the only way to not have to constantly wipe the screen is buy a cheap Capacitive Stylus.
