Help Easily remove and restore personal data?

Hi,

I have a samsung galaxy s which has a pay as you go sim in it and which is used by a number of work colleagues occasionally to give customer demonstrations on. When the phone is not with a colleague I would like to install my personal sim and use the phone for my personal use.

Now, I don't want colleagues having access to my emails, contacts, etc. Is there any easy way to switch the personality of the phone between work use and personal use? Do i have to factory default the device to protect personal data? If i do tis will it remove apps i have paid for too?

Thanks,
Dub

Welcome to the forums!

Factory reset on a phone does tend to set it to the original state - no extra apps.

In your shoes, I'd invest in a copy of MyBackup Pro, in the Market. This will backup everything and you can move the backup from your SD card to your PC.

You could then create a you vs. them set of backups and with a little back-and-forth, give the phone two personalities.
