Easy Battery pull

Not sure if anyone has not tried this but to save on fingernail ware and tare (literally in some cases) here is my tip.

Use a coin. just place the edge under the lip that you would normally place your fingernail supply a little force to slide the batter down a bit then useing the coin as a lever pop that battery out.

Hope this helps.

And sorry if others have pointed this out.

Oh, keys work too, but coins should be safer due to rounded edges.

Credit cards work great too. Just slip the corner under the notch and then roll the edge if the card around the nearby corner, working around to the side. Once the first tab pops loose, its cake from there. I'm sure there are many variations and all can be useful depending on what happens to be nearby when you need to open the cover.

Basically anything thin and rigid will work.

My solution - since I have my external battery charger i my truck, (constant power) and I have 2 extended batteries, I keep running them down til power off. If I'm close to power off, I keep the battery with me, but most times I just walk out to the truck and swap - so I use my trusty fold up slim jim :D
