Something else that I noticed today.

I love the drill down on the reports. If you select by Payee and then Transactions it will show ALL transactions for that payee not just the ones for that subcategory.

Kind of picky I know and not really a big deal but it can be confusing.

Not getting any feedback here. I thought that an Easy Money representative looked at this periodically. That would be a good idea.

I do Love this app. One more suggestion:

If you have an account that has had activity in the past but is now closed with a zero balance, it would be great to be able to Hide it on the main screen but still have it show up everywhere else that is applicable.

I have two accounts like that. I have reordered them to the bottom of the list but would rather not see them show up. I do not want to delete them and lose the transaction history for reports.

I'd like to see if there is a way to use a database hosted on my home system so I can access it remotely from my phone and tablet and the wiff's phone and tablet, to say nothing of accessing it from a PC!

Too much to ask?

Daily Money.

I've been using this free app for a couple of years now.
Mostly because it is a normal accounting app. It doesn't try and emulate checkbook expense recording.
That is important to me because I keep the books for my cattle company on it.
It deals with assets, liability, income, & expense accounts in the normal way. No restrictive desktop or checking account paradigm.
It is free and full featured. Also, open source.
Try it.

I use Quicken 2012 at home and backup to dropbox. Can this program import my Quicken 2012 file directly from Dropbox and save to Dropbox when done???

The only major app I am missing is a financial one but what stops me is none have a super simple way to import and export the data. One I tried you had to go to some kind of website and do this and that and it took 5x sometimes to get the data imported and once in a while it still didn't work.

I would need an easy way to sync data to and from and from and to every day. Not spend 10-15 minutes trying every time.

But i REALLY need the ability to manually adjust the end balance as someone mentioned earlier on this thread.

otherwise, it will never add up if you are only able to edit the starting balance. how are you going to ensure that everything adds up?

Pocketmoney has this function, but pocketmoney seems slightly buggy on my S3. does anyone know whether EasyMoney will have this as a feature to manually adjust the end balance???

Right, but how do you reconcile the fact that you might not always get the right balance at the end of the day, and u cannot adjust the end balance?

Let's say you forgot an expense and you just want to have the right balance to reflect the actual balance?doesn't seem there's an easy way to do that..

I use "MoneyWise Pro" which with all of its great features, you can adjust the end balance as often as you like at the end of the day.

otherwise, am i using this app wrongly? am i the only one who forgets to add $1.50 for a cup of coffee and then it doesn't balance up at the end of the day, and you can only adjust your starting balance and hence nullifying all your transactions?

I've been using the easymoney app. It's very useful, however, is there a problem running this app to samsung note 2 jellybean version? The bills reminder is not working properly if you mark it as paid. it doesn't reflect to the accounts for credit cards and cash.

Can't speak for the Note II but on my ASUS TF 201 with JB it works fine so it's not a JB issue.
