Easytether OS X Network Interface

I have Android 2.3 on a MetroPCS LG Esteem that I just installed Easytether Lite onto. My Laptop is running OS X Snow Leopard and after following the installation instructions as detailed, there is no easytether type network interface auto detected. When I try to manually create a new network interface, there is no option for easytether in the new network connection interface type selection list. I have rebooted the laptop after installing the easytether drivers.

Any help is appreciated.
