eBee's "Hotspotting" App: Anybody using it successfully?

I just tried the Android version of Hotspotting at my local library,
which has a cluster of 5 open hotspots. This is in the USA, near
Philadelphia PA.

I stayed connected for almost an hour, then went home.

The first of the cluster of 5:

Bssid: 04:c5:a4:92:c7:90
Rank 0
Accuracy 16.0
Latitude 40.05676 45728 5635
Longitude: -75.40265 7279 1177
Signal Strength: -55
Age: 0

Upon opening up Hotspot's map in the Android device, I saw that the library's icon had not turned purple to indicate that at least one person (Yours Truly) had successfully connected.

Sync'd a few times just to make sure, but it is still blue.

My expectation is that the map's icon for that location should have been
updated from blue to purple (per eBee's "Help" file description) based on my connection.

What am I doing wrong?
