Eclair Update Coming to Hero!

I just received a text message from HTC stating the follow:

"The rumours are true! Hero will be getting an Eclair update. We ask for your patience as we update Sense for the fancy Android OS."

This is awesome news! Now...what will Eclair offer us!?:)

This article states that it will be for the EU Hero but I am sure that the US will follow suit, too, as the Droid's being released here in the states in a little over a week and it's suppose to come preloaded w/ 2.0 already. Let's cross our fingers.
 
Well, I sure hope this spills over into Sprint's Hero soon. I am sure it will -- would be foolish to not do it. I have had mine just two days now, and there are a number of bugs that I am sure they will pick up and fix.

I was just coming to see if anyone else knew about this. It was tweeted about 44 mins ago. So we can lay rest to all the nasty rumors about not getting updated.
 
YAAYYY!!!! LOL
I didn't think they would leave us out in the cold. After all they do want us to buy more of their products in the future. It would have left a bad taste in my mouth concerning HTC if they didn't update us.
But its all good.
