Eclipse Source Code - Windows to Mac Import

Hi,

I'm working with a developer on an Android App. He created the code on a Windows machine - when he shared the code with me I wasn't able to import the ".project" file into my Eclipse environment.

Is there an easy way to export source code from a Windows instance and have it run on a Mac? The developer said it would take him a day - but maybe there is an easy option for this?

Thanks for any help,

B

If your mac is OS/X (and therefore a unix system) try the dos2unix command line program.

Hi Jon,

Thanks so much for the reply and the help.

Do I have to run dos2unix on each file of the App directory? Can I do this conversion after the files have been transferred to the Mac? Or do I need to run this on the Windows machine and then execute the program?

Thanks,

Holger

You would run this on the Mac. It's one of a pair (unix2dos is the other) of programs commonly found on Unix like systems. The man page is here.
