Edit Contacts

I can't make my (brand spanking new) S5 allow me to edit my contacts. I'm using the contact app included on the phone. (Sniff) I never had this problem with my neanderthal S2. Help!! Currently I'm having to delete the contact and re-save it with the added changes. Pain in the arse!

You should not be having that kind of trouble.

Just be sure you are using the Contacts Tab

On the top bar, right to left are 3 dots, a pencil icon (this is the edit function) and a Star (makes it a Favorite)

Click the pencil and make your changes, add extra fields, email addresses, etc...

then top right, click on SAVE.
