Help Edit Email Addresses In Bionic

Is there a way to edit email addresses in the Bionic? For example, when I first put roadrunner (ISP) on my Bionic, it seemed to know where to get my email addresses from. Now I have some that show email address only and some that show names and email addresses. I'd like to attach names to it because not everyone uses their name as part of their email address and I just can't remember them all.

I'd also like to know where I can add email addresses. I see MANAGE EMAIL ADDRESSES but it only lets you delete them, not rename them or add them.

Have you tried adding contacts with the proper email addresses in the Contacts app?
None of my contacts have email addresses attached to them. I'm using them through my email client (roadrunner). Somehow, when I originally set up the program, the Bionic knew how to go out and get the contact information and it populated it in my email address book. If I can find out how that did it, I may be able to sync it again. Not sure. As a last resort, I will just set it up again and hope it grabs the new email addresses. Thanks for the response.

Right, but if you go into the contacts app and add email addresses to those contacts, it should link the email address to the contact and display the name of the sender.

Email addresses that look like this in a mail app:

"John Doe <john.doe@somewhere.com>"

are based on the set up of the person who sent you the mail, not based on your mail client. That's (I think) why you see them sometimes and not others. Enter the email addresses to proper contacts on your phone (or, if you sync to gmail, at gmail.com/contacts) and the mails should display the sender name when you open the message. (Since you asked where you can enter the names to connect to email addresses in the email app, that's where you do it - in the Contacts app.)

In Dialer app ...
Select Menu | Add Contact
First name type AAAAAA
Email - Home type some valid e-mail address
Select Save

In Email app
Select Menu | Compose New Gmail message
Type AAAAAA
Select Send

Did not work for me as I wanted it to. There has to be a way that the initial set up is going out to grab my email addresses...some of which are NOT in my contact list and some are.

That would be great if I didn't have so many valid email addresses. It would take a while to transfer all of my addresses this way.
