Editing files on a Network

Hello all,

I've managed to access my network drive at work using ES File Explore, but the problem I am having is that the files are only opening as read only and when I try to save them they can only be saved locally and I want to save them back into the original file on the network.

Does anyone know how I can achieve this?

Thank You.

I hold the file local on the phone and edit it on the phone. After editing I back up the file on the NAS. ES will overwrite the copy of the file on the NAS.

That's what I am trying to figure out. I can save it locally but then I don't know how to put it back on the network as I can't seem to find a way to navigate back to the network.

Can you help me on this?

Do not open the file in the network (when you want it to edit).
Create a folder on your phone's SD card and put your original file in it.
Then open the file with ES (Local tab), choose the editor, edit and save the file, leave the editor and you are back in ES.
Copy the file with ES, switch ES to LAN tab and save the file in the network.

So you'll your original on the phone and your backup in the network.
