Editing Google Docs?

It was announced more than a month ago that Android Froyo users would be able to edit Google word-processing docs at docs.google.com but I still don't seem to be able to do this. The video in the news release shows opening a document and clicking on an "edit" button in the upper right corner of the screen. I don't see this button!

I have a Motorola Droid (original model) running Android 2.2.1. I've tried this with the default Android Browser and with Dolphin Browser, and no success. Did this not get implemented? Am I doing something wrong?

Any help would be much appreciated. (And please don't tell me about gdocs - the Mac version of it is buggy and they don't seem to be in any hurry to fix it.)

Thanks in advance!

It doesn't work with older documents. You need to create a new document. I only have a few google documents, and was able to manually copy and paste the contents of an old document into microsoft word and then copy and paste that result into a new google doc. Then I can edit the new document from my android phone.
