Editing My Maps on Android?

[mcbaggert]

Hi all.

There is no way to currently add new pins to my maps on the Google Maps app - I can only overlay my places as a layer but cannot edit or even copy my notes and descriptions in my place pins. I've read of some old school apps back in 2008 that allowed editing of my Google maps but these are long gone. Does anyone know an app or a service that allows me to edit my Google maps from my android device?

Thanks for the help!

I share my important locations in Google Maps/My Places with the free app 'Place Saver' (yes, using the Share option in My Places).

Place Saver let me edit these locations of My Places, what I can't directly do in My Places.
From this places in Place Saver I can go to Maps or other GPS apps on my phone, even to my offline car navigation 'Garmin Navigon'

Thanks! Looks like a pretty good solution - will give it a try out tonight and post my thoughts.
