Help Editing "To" field in email

Newbie
I'm a beginner to Swype and Swiftkey both of which present me with a problem I can't seem to solve. After I enter a number of addresses in the "To" field I sometimes get a box with the message "some email addresses are not valid." I can correct the error if I can just get at the address but the box won't go away and I can't see or correct the address underneath. How can I get rid of the box?

Try pressing the back button. I don't know if it WILL work, but I find that sometimes I get pop-ups on my screen that get in the way of me reading and/or typing, so if I press the back button usually the pop-up or the keyboard will go away, allowing you more room to click off somewhere temporarily.

Thanks but it didn't work for me. Clicking the back button simply puts the email in the drafts folder. Clicking on the email again still has the offending pop-up.
