Help Editing your dictionary?

Did anyone figure out how to edit the dictionary? For example, if I added a word into it by mistake and now the phone keeps suggesting it, how do I take it out?

Good question, was wondering same. Tried a number of things, but no luck.

someone asked this question a week ago.. i think the consensus is you cant edit the dictionary as it stands.. perhaps you may be able to once people are able to get into the 'root' of the device....

talking about "roots" reminds me of jailbreaking my itouch when it first appeared....

My understanding is that it's an ALL OR NOTHING type deal...

"Looks like there is a way to clear it:
Editing Dictionary
Go to Settings -> Applications -> Manage Applications -> Touch Input
Click on clear data and you can delete it. Not as nice as being able to edit it I suppose, but it'll do for now"
