Edward Snowden Friend or Foe

The system would love this.
"Take a plea."
"Make a deal."

Seen too many innocent locked up and guilty go free, just to make the prosecutions job easier.

18 years working on the inside...

Maybe you create a government job as a bureaucratic proctologist in search for the undigested information that lies deep in the bowels of the true guilty? Build a situation and create a job for it to MAGA..

playing devil's advocate.....

if there was a computer software.. listening in on all communication traffic.. with NO bias or malice.
for key words and or phrases... and only in high frequencies... "potential threat"
only keeping those flagged files recorded..deleting the rest.
only then forwarding it to humans for review.

and if this was able to show real evidence that it helped to find / stop terrorist plans.
and in 2017.. it was able to find 3 .. events and help stop it ...
(again this is ONLY my example: not facts)

if this was the case...
would you be OK with it?

my opinion .. at this time:
yes... i am ok with this.

Do all moles/ government employees/ Advocate like yourself ask and answer their own questions?

i pose a question... for discussion.
and to be open and fair... i was honest with my answer to the question... for others to see.

it does NOT stop others from considering the question and then posting their answer..
even if it is different from mine.

Question for you.. is that a problem for you in your world?

Now in English please??

honestly.. i had to relook at each of my sentences several times.. to try to see the confusion.

they are sentence fragments. SO that is bad English.
and not using capital letters at the beginning...
and not proper punctuation at the end.

sorry... for my bad engrish usage .. in informal posting style.
on an informal social online medium.

my bad. i hope you can see past my faulty engrish
:p

MAGA, I don't have a lot of apologies to any individuals from abroad trying to give their input into the United States affairs.

In my opinion One must earn the status as a United States citizen before I even attempt to contemplate that individual's conversation. I one hand have earned my status as a United States citizen in more ways than you can imagine. So by that being said one must earn their keep in my eyes. Yes that post was a little opaque because I stand put with the status quo.

If Android Forums changes its rules so it is only for US citizens, then that would be something.
Till then, you're gonna have to deal with it.

Btw.. you do know that Edward Snowden's revelations were not exclusively about the US. Which makes it even more confusing why you think that its even relevent

Like I mentioned in an earlier post who knows what other information made it out of that government facility that they're not telling us about.

As i said.. I knew you knew that; You even quoted the post where I said that.

but that doesn't explain your comments about "people from abroad"

feel free to clarify why "people from abroad" can't comment on Edward Snowden

While for one I didn't say that they couldn't comment, I said what I'm willing to conversate with someone from abroad that's reading about the manure what's going on in the United States versus someone like myself that's smelling the manure that's going on in the United States close up and personal. It's two different types of conversations. In layman's term but very real.

It's Revenant to me because this is where I live and I can't speak on where someone stand somewhere else because that's most definitely not relevant to me. Carry on

I'm wondering if Snowden has given up more government Trade Secrets \ tactics to whatever foreign government he's hiding under?

In hindsight if he did, he maybe more of a foe then a friend if he gave up those trade secrets and it jeopardized the safety of American citizens and the safety of the United States national security.

Bring Snowden home.. But would he live a full life? Probably not, someone in legal dept or affiliates will likely make his remaining time short..

Depends on the State he returns to and who has jurisdiction after his arrest. Precedent says Massachusetts authorities would incarcerate him for life but we do have a history of just executing folks like him. Goes way back to the American Revolution which started in Boston, MA.
