Help eee transformer

Hi just got a asus eee transformer and was wondering if I do the asus update can I still root the tablet? I have a HTC thunderbolt and rooted it running Band forever 1.10 and just wanted to know and when they update to ICS will i be able to get that if i am rooted? Total newb when it comes to tablets....thanks

Yes, if you do the update you can still root. In the All Things Root section there is a sticky which has a link to a one-click root for the TF.

Once you're rooted you most likely will not be able to receive the OTA update from ASUS to ICS. However it's a safe bet that the Devs will have the stock ICS ROM available for us to flash shortly after ASUS has it ready.
