Root El29 update effect root?

Will updating to this EL29 effect my root? I don't have a custom rom, just a kernel so i could tether now and again.
it will remove your toot access....my 1yr old son pushed the update for me when playing with my phone and i am no longer rooted...trying to figure a safe way to gain root access again without losing stuff.

Well i will hold off. There are some roots out there without ciq. So when I have an off day I will take that route.

i was able to re-root with Odin one click very simple with no issues.
I just need basic root - no other modes this phone runs fast enough for me and i am OK with the stock rom

Yes I agree. I just have a rooted stock device, couple of rooted apps to please my thirst and thats it. I am glad that samsung actually sent out an update, very surprising.
