Help elephone data recovery

(not certain this is the right section)so i broke my phone's screen(elephone p5000) in the summer and it has been sitting in a drawer for the past 4-5 months. i recently tried to recover the data from the phone (mostly pictures) but of course it wouldnt turn on.Nothing is working just a small diod near the earpiece blinks every time i boot/plug it in. i tried booting it into recovery and plugging it into my laptop but in the device manager the phone would appear as an unknown device and the computer would sit for hours trying to install drivers. I downloaded the required drivers for my phone(mediatek mtk 6592) but i just got more and more confused since i didnt know what i was doing so naturally i uninstalled and gave up .I went to a specialist and he said the only way to access the data is to get a new screen for the phone but since i dont wanna spend any money(im a cheap bastard) i just ignored the problem. And after so much time i am determined to do anything to get that data. So how can i do so? thanks in advance

Is there a way to start the phone through an emulator of some sort ?

Yes if you have taken precautions by setting up a remote access for your phone just in case.

Unfortunately, these are the questions people ask often when it's too late. There are remote access apps and backup utilities, but these need to be installed and configured on the phone, which, without a working display, you won't be able to setup.

Let's assume for a minute that your phone will boot, even though you can't see anything. Any app that allows access will need to be granted permission on the device and many times that connection must be verified on the device as well. You could also cast the screen to another device such as a PC or a TV, but again, that would have to be setup on the phone to work.

As for getting your data back, you'd have to be a bit more specific about the data you wish to recover. Files like photos or music would be easier. Had you enabled developer mode and turned on USB debugging, you could get them with adb commands, but I somehow think you don't have your phone setup that way. If you are talking about messages or mail, that is all stored in a protected database in the system. Without root you wouldn't be able to copy those anyway.

If the data is that important to you, then screen replacement is the way to go. I did see a few screen replacement kits for your model in the $60 neighborhood if you want to try it yourself.

Check out this video to see if it's something you would be comfortable with.

Otherwise, you will have to pay a shop to do it.
