eliminating duplicate text messages

When i send a text through messaging in Galaxy S4, the receiver gets it in viber (we both have viber but I am not sending it through viber) only or both viber and regular messaging. How can i eliminate this and set up the phone so the message only goes through messaging only and only once.

Hi

In vibers settings there is a tick box for "Free reply with viber" - When possible use viber for SMS replies. It seems to be ticked by default, so untick it.
