Hi Android fans.
Recently converted Nokia user with an HTC Desire Z coming to you all the way from Bahrain (Middle East). Waited 3 months for the phone and eventually had to shell out approximately $800 for it (It's the price you pay when going carrier-free, which is the norm here in the Middle East..... plus the greedy retailers' 50%+ markup
).
My main concerns so far are figuring some of the more advanced features of Android 2.2 and figuring out a way to hold myself over until Google decides to fully support the Arabic language (not because my English is bad, but rather since some of the sites I view and SMSs I receive are in my native tongue).
Hope I can become a contributing member of this forum!
