I have recently bought one of these but I wish I had done my research first, I bought it as a cheap starting point in the world of android apps only to discover that it is not compatible with any apps from the android marketplace and it appears the only apps that do (sometimes) work is the ones from the inbuilt slideme market place which mainly consists of adult chat rooms!
Very disappointed and am planning to call elonex and complain, maybe threaten trading standards as it uses the android logo and indicates thousands of apps available! Not the case im afraid. There does seem to be people out there that are however capable of flashing it with an alternative operating system but not sure how this is achieved as yet!
