Email alternatives

I must say I am a little underwelmed by the Email that comes as standard and wonder if there are any alternatives.

I want to be able to look at a of couple of different IMAP servers. I would like

• the number of new items in each folder (I filter on my server)
• a tree view of folders (so if I have a folder/subfolder then the subfolders are hidden
• ability to search for messages with a particular subject

just do a search for "email" you should get a ton of matches.
