Email app headache

Lurker
Hello,

I've been testing many email apps looking for two features :
- Exchange 2010 sync --> no problem
- ability to answer in received mail

Actually, I send emails with HTML body.
When received on my pad, I would like to be able to answer these mail and to fill the form in my answer.

I am pretty sure I was able to do so with the stock email app but it seems not to work anymore.
MailDroid allows it but crashes each time I click on "answer in mail".

Do you know how I could do this with the stock email app ?
Or do know any other (free) app with this feature ?

Thanks a lot.

Ask the person who emailed you to send you to a Web link with the form to fill in. It's a bad practice to send complex HTML inside an email as alot of email clients don't support it.

SkyJackpot : Thanks for your answer.

I am the person who sends the HTML emails.
Actually, I wrote a program that sends HTML emails (not complex HTML, it's only a <TABLE> and the form I am talking about is built with cell borders that are visible or not).
The goal is to send thoses mails to my colleagues so that they only have to :
- click "answer" on the email
- fill the "form"
- click "send"
rather than logging in on a website or open, complete, save and attach an attachment.

Most stock email clients don't support anything more complex than clicking to a Web page, so if your targets are mostly mobile phone users then that's something you're just going to have to work around.

HTML elements also decrease your email deliverability rate so if you're sending these emails in mass numbers then over time your email address will become subject to blacklisting.

Thanks for you answer.
I know HTML emails are not recommended because HTML rendering can be unsound.
This was a way to have a convenient form for my users.
I changed this and now I send plain text emails to follow your advice.

But I'm still looking for a way to answer inside a received mail from the stock app.
Do you know wether it is possible or not ?

That is quite surprising. Most users see that issue when downloading it from the Amazon store or somewhere else where it is corrupted. It might have somehow got corrupted on the install from the play store.
